I downloaded the trial of Captivate 7. The first time I launched it, it worked fine. The next time it stalled, and eventually (5-7 minutes later) the Windows "Send Error Report" message displayed.
This happened repeatedly, so I uninstalled and then redownloaded, and reinstalled it. This time it had the problem immediately. I have not installed any other applications since the time it ran correctly, so I don't think it's a conflict.
In the Error Signature section of the error message the folowing info:
AppName: adobecaptivate.exe
ModVer: 7.0.0.118
Offset: 00001b6f
AppVer: 7.0.0.118
ModName: cpdatabase.dll
I'm running on Windows XP Pro (yes, I know...behind the times.)
This is very frustrating since I need to advise a client as to whether they should upgrade or not. I can't help them, if I can't take a look at the product.
