I have been creating projects in which the playbar is hidden, using the cpCmnd, on the first slide. The reason I am doing this rather than setting the playbar to "off" in the skin is because I want the user to be able to use the playbar later after certain criteria are met.
I am using an LMS that bookmarks the last page viewed allowing the project to open to that location when the user reopens it. In CP 5.5 if I had applied a cpCmndShowPlaybar = 0 action on an early slide (using the "On Enter" action) if the user closed it before he/she was finished and then reopened it it would reopen with the playbar still hidden.
Using CP 6 I have noticed that this does not occur. When the project reopens to the bookmarked page it does so in the default state, which is cpCmndShowPlaybar = 1. What is happening is that my users can open the project, go forward a couple of pages, and close the project. Then when they open it again there is the playbar. Without providing a long explaination, this defeats the purpose I had for hiding the playbar in the first place.
So, here is my question. Is there some way that I can make CP 6 behave the way 5.5 did regarding this command? Or am I just going to have to stop using this functionality because it is no longer supported?
