Cannot publish in Captivate 6

I am not able to publish anything - not the current project, recreated by pasting slides to a new project, or an old project I have published before. I have tried dumping the cache, and deleting the Captivate 6 folder (Preferences.)  Nothing works.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

The error always says "Failed to publish your project to teh Adobe Connect Server. Verify your network connection and then retry." 

There is nothing wrong with my network connection!

I noticed that in Connect, the failed attempts are labeled as "Content" rather than as Adobe Captivate like other presentations I have published.  Does that help identify a possible fix?
