Captivate 7 and relative file path syntax

Hello,

I am using Captivate 7 and I am trying to use a button to open an Excel file (comm09.xlsx).

The entire published project is located on a web server (SharePoint) and the Excel files are stored in a subfolder (for organization, since there's a lot of them). The subfolder is called "samplefiles."

I placed a button on the slide and set it to Open URL or File. I tried a bunch of different relative paths, like:

samplefiles/comm09.xlsx

/samplefiles/comm09.xlsx

etc., but none of them work. What is the proper syntax for relative path names in this situation? I feel like I've tried everything and nothing is working.

If I put the file on the same level as the project and just put the filename in the Open URL or File box, it works. But I would really want to store all the Excel files in a separate subfolder for sanity.

Thoughts? Thanks!
