jump to a slide label

I'm in a situation where I'll need to jump to slide label (instead of number) in Captivate from Flash.  I tried using WidgetFactory creating a static widget and then using the gotoSlide method along with the label name which, according to the documentation, should have worked but it didn't.  Is there any way to do this from Flash.  I know I can do it within Captivate but for this situation, I can't do that.
