I am guessing from doing some searches that there isn't a happy medium here. I just published a project and selected swf, HTML5 and scalable HTML content. In IE the project looks great and fits the screen whatever the size. However in Firefox it works but appears on the screen as the size of a postage stamp!
I also tried the project on my smartphone. It scaled nicely but the sensitivity of the buttons is awful! I am not very impressed with the so-called seamless publishing across platforms! When I click on buttons to e.g. go to the next slide it jumps several slides at a time.
If I create a project as 1024 x 768 and want it to look good on pcs regardless of the screen size and in all browsers, IE, Firefox etc, and on all smart phones and tablets, what options should I choose when publishing?
Is screen size 1024 x 768 not the best to choose when creating a new project or is it okay?
Should I ignore the HTML5 option when I publish and just select swf and HTML scaling? However, will that prevent it from working properly on smartphones and tablets?
Screen size and publishing is confusing me and there I was thinking it should be a straightforward process.
Gratfeul for any advice and help.
