i have a learner who failed a course assessment buiilt in Captivate 6 and running under Saba. The course preferences have been set to unlimitted attempts. However, when the learner closes out and relaunches the course, the course opens in the middle of the quiz, not the first slide of the course as expected.
Any ideas would be most helpful.
Update: I still need a permanent solution but i have discovered a workaround that I sent to the learner. It's not the ideal solution but it gets them through:
When you re-launch the course after not passing the first attempt the course opens towards the end of the Quiz. To complete the full assessment and get credit, do the following:
1. complete the test from this point forward but do not exit out of the course.
2. On the last slide (the fail Message slide) open the Table of Contents.
3. You can now access every lesson as well as the assessment .
4. When you're ready, launch the assessment from the course and complete it.
5. On the success message screen after you complete the assessment, click the Exit button to indicate completion to the LMS. The course no longer displays in your In-Progress box because you have now successfully completed the course.
Also, I am sending you my quiz settings, although nothing here gives any idea why the course opens on the same specific screen on the second attempt after failing the first attempt regardless of the learner.
