The following are button responses when the project is used on an Apple iPad with Safari. The “buttons” are actually Smart Shapes used as buttons, and Advanced Actions using cpCmndMute, cpCmndPrevious, and cpCmndNextSlide setting are in place.
REWIND: Always works, though occasionally the PLAY button must be clicked to start it.
RESUME: Always works.
PAUSE: Always works.
MUTE: Never works.
UNMUTE: Can’t tell if it works, because the project can’t be muted by the MUTE button.
PREVIOUS/NEXT: Always displays the previous/next slide, but both PREVIOUS and NEXT always restarts the movie when clicked, regardless of what the slide is doing, until about the 4th ~ 7th slide, when the movie usually plays what the slide is about; but clicking the PREVIOUS button eventually (and before the 2nd slide) rewinds the movie, regardless of the slide; basically, their response is erratic.
Does the new mobile playbar(s) in 7.0.1 solve all this? I had switched to a "roll-yer-own" Smart Shape/Button/Advanced Action setup because the mobile playbars in 7 we're functioning like I expected. Either REAL Captivate power users know their way around this, or I'm not the only one facing these issues. Thanks in advance!
