SWF to Captivate communication resources

Hi all,

I am trying to locate some resources on learning about getting an imported swf file to communicate with a captivate 6 via as3. To be a bit more specific, right now I want to be able to place as3 inside a swf file that will trigger the captivate project to move to the next slide. In the future I will want to do more advanced things, so instead of just asking "How do I do this" I am hoping that someone could point me to a book, blog, tutorial etc that will help me learn about using as3 to communicate between the two.
