Drag and drop - tailored answer to each distractor needed

(Captivate 7)

Hi,

I have made a Drag and Drop assessment. There is one draggable object. There are 4 possible target areas. Only 1 of the target areas is correct, the other 3 are incorrect.

I want each possible answer (correct and all 3 incorrects) to be a learning experience, even if the learner got the answer wrong. Each possible answer will have unique feedback.

Therefore, when the learner drags the object to a target area and then clicks Submit, I would like unique feedback for that specific target area.

Thus, I need to have 4 unique feedback textboxes: incorrect answer A, Incorrect answer B, Correct answer C, Incorrect answer D

I cannot figure out how to do this in Captivate. In the Drag and Drop's Action accordion, there is only 1 possible caption for the 'Failure Caption.' The text I enter into the Failure Caption textbox displays the same text for all incorrect answers--I cannot put unique feedback for each of the three failure selections (A, B, D).

I know I could achieve this by using the 'Drop Target' accordion and putting a unique caption for each target area's 'On Accept,' but I want the learner to only see the unique caption after clicking Submit, not right away. After they click 'Submit' and get the unique feedback, I would like them to be able to try the assessment again, so they can see the feedback for each of the other possible answers.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

cheers
