I was working on Captivate files fine yesterday, but when I open the files today I'm having trouble. The first problem is the initial screen won't close (the one that allows you to access recent files or create new files). Then the .cptx file that is open behind that screen does not show the timeline or filmstrip views. When selecting these to display, I get a message that reads "a fatal error has occured and the application is being terminated...." I've uninstalled and reinstalled Captivate and then the whole Adobe Tech Suite, as well as restarted PC, but can't resolve the problem.
