Captivate 6 keeps on crashing giving fatal error

I am using Captivate 6 on Windows 7. All seemed well until i changed some preferences in Captivate. Now every time i try to record a new demonstration project or do recording in existing project, i get the fatal error message. I have

• Cleared the Cache Folder
• Deleted the Captivate 6 folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe

Still i am getting the same problem. The snapshot is attached
