Initializing a button for reuse, revisited and a little frustrated...

Hello,

I am 90% successful at getting the results I need with a reusable button...I've been following Lilybiri's blog on how to do this...there is one place where I am failing.

Some background. I would like to be able to make a button reusable on the same slide....have the user click on it multiple times. To do this, I am making a conditional action with two statements. for this example, my I will call my expression ButtonLive and its variable v_variable.

When a user clicks the button assigned with the conditional v_variable, if the v_variable has the value of 0,  another button appears. After viewing the contents of that button, the user can click the close button and the process can start over...ideally. By the process can start over again, I mean that the user can reclick the original button and start the process again. But, if I put a Disable button argument in the original if statement, the button becomes unclickable. Even if I have a 1=1 Var argument setup with the variable = 1-variable, the button is still disabled...I am assuming per entering the original If statement. If I take the disable option out, it works and I can reclick it, but depending on which different options I put in (show the other button, etc.), it still does not get to the ideal state of disabling the button while the information is being shown, and reenabling it when the user wants to see the information again. I would like to upload my file somewhere so someone can take a look.

I really need this to work for a project, please  help!!!!!!!
