Struggling with the certificate widget....
v_Name - found out that this is the variable used to populate the 'User Name' in the certificate. This works well enough but the problem is the length of the variable's value.
So on the slide I have a Text Entry Box. The user enters their name as they want it to be printed on the certificate,then click the submit button. On the next slide is the certificate, with the v_Name variable set to display in it.
This works but the problem is that the variable is limited to just 15 characters. How do I increase the length of this as it is displayed in the certificate?
I know that, upon initial creation via the Text Caption properties' Insert Variable button a length can be set, but that seems to only apply the text caption. In regards to certificates, text captions are irrelevant.
Also - any other 'gotchas' I need to be aware of with the certificate widget? I'm already aware of the printing in non-Landscape issue.
Adobe: why not include the source .fla files for these widgets?
