Drop-Down Question Slide Fonts

Hi,

I've searched all over the internet, and have not found a solution for this, despite the fact that the problem went back at least to Cp 4...

My drop-down boxes have tiny, unreadable font, making them unusable. Is there ANY way to change the font to conform with the rest of the question text?

Here is what it looks like in design view:

Here is what it looks like in F10 view and when published:

See how bad the second one looks? How do I make those tiny black letters look like the big blue letters above? And yes, it works fine in Fill-In-The-Blank mode.
