Hi!
I’ve created a project with several quoted buttons. I duplicated the buttons to get 2 attempts with different quotations each:
1st button/attempt = 5 points
2nd button/attempt = 3 points
and last = 0 points.
The problem is that I’ve tried to answer everything correctly and, instead of 100%, the LMS only reports 63,69%.
I'm using SCORM 1.2:
What am I doing wrong? Am I complicating?

Hi Gang,
Apparently there is a trend for people who have to take eLearning courses (but can't be bothered) to palm the task off to someone else, so they can show their completion certificate, get 'HR' off their back but not have to put in any personal effort.
A client has asked if there is any way to stop this, and ensure the actual user shown on the certificate was the one taking the course.
I must admit, I can't think of a way to ensure this, but I wonder if that's just because I'm a luddite and there are plenty of new fangled ways to make sure, hence the question.

I'm using Captivate 9 and the add link button is missing. I read a similar question to this one, but the person was able to solve the problem by closing and re-opening Captivate. I did that and it didn't work. So currently I don't have an add link button. Do you have any idea how can I get it back?
Hello everyone! I am pretty new to Captivate, so I will try and explain my question as clearly as possible!
I am creating a template for a project I am working on. In Master Slide View, I have added Smart Shape placeholders for objects (eventually buttons) I want to appear on that type of slide. When I insert that Slide (Lets call it Slide 1) to the filmstrip, I double click to activate the smart shape, then press "Use as button." I am able to apply the action I want to the button. (Action 1)
However, when I create a additional slide (Slide 2) from the same master slide, and I follow the same steps above, but instead give a button a different action (Action 2), then button on Slide 1 changes from Action 1 to Action 2.
It seems somehow that by creating this type of smart shape placeholder, it links the type of action somewhere to the background code of the Master slide object. I have found that if I Cut, then Paste the button before I apply an action, they will no longer be linked and works as I am intending. Is there something that I am initially doing to cause this? Or are placeholders just weird?
I am using Captivate 19 on Windows, just updated the version.

I am using Captivate 2017 and I have a course for 2 user groups, the course contains 3 case studies (with several questions for each).
User group 1 needs to view case study's 1 and 2 and User group 2 needs to view all 3 case studies.
What is the best way to set this up and how do I get the quiz results to reflect the 2 different user groups?

I'm working with Captivate 9 and yes I've already found contributions to it, but I don't understand some of them.
I'm working on a very big project and it's so that I create most of the graphics in Power Point because it's better and easier.
I did some tests a few days ago to see what is possible with Captivate and noticed that Copy & Paste of PP objects works. These are inserted as clipart objects into Captivate. This still worked a few days ago and since then I have changed some settings and now all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore. I don't know why but it really worked! There are a lot of people who say this wouldn't work but I wonder why it worked for me and no I didn't imagine that. I have some objects that were taken over exactly like that O_o therefore I ask myself what is now going on that does not work any more.

I'm currently working for the languages department at my Uni. We'd like to create a Captivate programme which allows students to read about basic linguistic topics as well as to complete a quiz.
I am sorry if I chose the wrong words for what I am trying to explain, I have set our Captivate to German.
When clicking on a false answer in a quiz, I have activated theses boxes that appear to say that the chosen answer is false. Now, I'd like to make that box clickable so that it reads something like that:
False answer - Click here to get to the information part again
So that the 'false answer box' links to a certain slide which explains the grammatical feature tested. I couldn't find any option on how to make the false box clickable!

I am a new user. I am creating a course where the learner needs to click on a button that opens up a new window (they are supposed to read/watch something).
Unfortunately, this action doesn't stop the slideshow, which has progressed many slides before the learner returns to the actual course page she started from.
How can I pause the slideshow when the user uses such a button? Could a combination of actions resolve this?

I want to have an interaction that would simulate clicking with a pen on a tick box.
Can we make it so the pen image moves with the cursor?

I'm an instructional designer working on a former colleague's course build in Adobe Captivate 9 Version 9.0.2.437.
She has added knowledge checks throughout her course but never provided the answers to the knowledge checks
in her storyboard. These are knowledge checks (not quiz questions).
I've combed the forums and FAQs (even YouTube) for an answer to this question and have come up empty:
Is there any way at all, to view (and/or edit) the answers to the knowledge check questions in
Adobe Captivate 9? I don't want to change the properties of the questions, I just want to view correct answers.

I am working with a team on providing feedback on Adobe forms. We can easily add comments, but can we "track changes" like you do in word? Specifically, on what has been entered into the form, not what we have on the form.

I found a issue with Captivate 2017 (10.0.1.285). After I rescale my project to a larger size while keeping the objects in the project the same size.
I select Top Center for Position Project.
When publishing to HTML 5 the FullMotion slides when played gets resized. The video gets squeezed to a smaller width, not matching the width of the other slides.
It does this only in HTML 5 not in SWF. I believe this is a bug with Captivate 2017 (10.0.1.285). It was not doing this in the prior update. Could you please verify?

Hello.I have a very strange trouble with Hyperlinks in Adobe Captivate!
I am working on a project with 229 slides.On the slide 7 ,there is some Hyperlinks.
The Hyperlinks that linked to the slides 1 to 26 work very good.
But Hyperlinks that linked to slides 27 to 229 don't work!
When click them one, there is no action ,also when click again , but when
click for 3rd time, the slide 4 is shown.Please help me.Please say me what is wrong?
During first installation in Win 7 I have interrupted this installation too soon.
A second installation failes because my windows says that there is an installation done, but that is not the case.
I can not remove the program.
I think i have something to do with my windows register.

I have installed a new Microsoft voice in my machine and registered to use it with other applications. For Captivate, the voice agent is available in the Speech agent list. The issue is, though I am selecting the new MS voice agent, the voice is not changing.
i.e Its using Microsoft David as default voice though I am changing the agent to MS Ravi.
Now my questions:
1) Why the voice agent's voice is not changing?
2) Do I need to install or register the MS Voice agent in different place?
3) The new voice agent is working with other Text-to-Speech application but not working with Captivate - any reason?
3) How can I use other Microsoft voice agent in Captivate?

For my quiz i added the review button in the resultspage to see which answers are correct and incorrect. When i click the review button it brings me back to all the questions but the answers and the correct and incorrect icons are not shown.

How do I prevent an Adobe Captivate 2019 slide from moving to the next slide if I am not using a button with a stop action in it, so that only the playbar will move ahead? It's been a while and I can't seem to recall the steps needed to make this happen.
On the other hand, would it be wise to only use the play bar as a navigation tool for a Captivate presentation? I suppose I can put a forward and back button the slide. But I would like to free up that real estate if I can.

I've created a simple drag and drop activity that is going within an eLearning platform. Ideally, it would act within the webpage without being a video, but it seems it has to export as one. Are there ways to remove the playhead and video controls, or should that be coded on my webpage instead? It's a bit of an eye sore.

Hello - I'm having issues with some of my drop down widgets in Edge. I use them to create a custom interactions. I check the selection that the learner made with a Submit action. This all works fine in Chrome, but not always in Edge browser. Does anyone have experience with why this happens just in Edge? Thank you

I'm new to Captivate and i'm trying to find a way to develop elearning courses that fit the browser/screen size, like in modern webdesign
For example, i want to have a header menu that fits the browser width or, i would like to fix the position of an element to the limit of the screen, so that it is always positioned there, independently of the size of the screen.
Is this possible to do in Adobe Captivate?
